The Cumbria Golf Alliance organises winter golf competitions for members of clubs affiliated to the Cumbria Union of Golf Clubs.

Competitions are held on weekends and also midweek for senior golfers (55 & over)  October through to March. No competitions in December or January.

All competitions are 4 ball better ball Stableford, unless stated. For prize purposes the competitions are divided into 2 divisions, with the divisions decided on the day to give a fair split of prizefund.  All golfers must have an active WHS handicap index. Playing handicap will apply, there are deductions throughout the season for prizewinners.

Competition fees, per person, are £15 for Sundays (plus optional £2 for two's) and £15 for Seniors Midweek.
