The Cumbria Golf Alliance organises winter golf competitions for members of clubs affiliated to the Cumbria Union of Golf Clubs.

Competitions are held on Sundays and also midweek for senior golfers (55 & over)  October through to March. No competitions in December or January.

All competitions are 4 ball better ball Stableford, unless stated. For prize purposes the competitions are divided into 2 divisions. The 1st division is for golfers with a combined gross handicap indexes up to 30.4/ seniors 36.4 and the 2nd division for golfers with a combined gross handicap indexes  from 30.5-54/ seniors 36.5-54. All golfers must have an active WHS handicap index.

Competition fees, per person, are £13 for Sundays (plus optional £2 for two's) and £13 for Seniors Midweek.
